Terms of service

The service

Race Times scores sailing races and publishes results for the clubs that use it. It is run by [the operator's legal name], [postal address]. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to the privacy notice.

Your account

• One account per person, in your own name, with an email address you use.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what's done with your account.
• You can delete your account at any time, from your My account page.

Clubs

• Each club decides who joins it, and what role they have there.
• Each club's race committee is responsible for its results. Race Times calculates them under the RYA's NHC rules and the Racing Rules of Sailing from what the committee records; the committee's decision on a result is final.
• A club that leaves Race Times can download everything it holds first. Its data is then deleted.

Using the site

Don't use Race Times to break the law, to see or change what you're not entitled to, or to disrupt it for others. We may suspend an account that does.

Availability

We work to keep Race Times running and its data safe, but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. [Limits of liability to be set out here.]

Changes

If these terms change, we'll say so on this page, with the date.
